Yeh! Finally found a babysitter!

Finally found someone in the neighbourhood to help me look after my baby prince when I go for my operation and two weeks after that (because I cannot move my hand, not to mention carry my prince). Someone had recommended her to me so I just 'take it' since I can not find anyone else. I have to trust the person who recommended this babysitter to me since I was the one who approached her asking her to help me ask around.

Went over to the to-be babysitter's place just now for my prince to 'check out' the place and to-be carer first and also for us to see her and the environment. Environment wise I would say only average but am quite happy that her family likes babies.

But one headache - why everyone loves carrying babies so much?! Haha, actually I like it too but I try to refrain from carry mine too often as he will always want ppl to carry him and I will not have any time to do any thing at all. With my dad always carrying him (although a short while as he cannot stand carrying him for long due to my baby's weight, lol) has pampered him enough and now, worse. The babysitter's husband and children (elder ones) plus may be her neighbours (seem like her house always got visitors), each take turn to carry my prince enough already. By the time he is back to my care full-time again I will have to be mentally prepared - he loves to be carried around even more than now! OMG! Faint! "bi bor bi bor bi bor..." - sounds of ambulance to fetch me. LOL.

Just discussed with my husband how much should we pay her since she does not want to quote us a price, saying that she's just helping. But we do not find it nice to let ppl help us for free, especially it's going to be 2 weeks. Initially needed her to help look after in the night as well since I can not move my hand at all, but if we are going to pay her according to the market rate, it will be a hefty sum to us, especially now that we have a baby (the formula milk and diapers already cost a bomb) and also need to spend a considerable amount on my princess' books for next year (over 100 bucks).

My husband told me he has no idea how much to pay her too, so I told him the market rate. After discussing, he said that he will look after baby in the night, so the babysitter just need to look after our prince in the day and he said that he will pay the babysitter $300 for two weeks. In this way, our 'pocket holes' will not be terribly 'burnt' too. We are paying her this amount as, since she's not calculative, so we 'auto' also. Okay, fine, as long as he's able to pay ppl the amount, I have nothing to go against it as I also do not like to owe ppl anything nor give ppl a wrong and bad impression that we are stingy or selfish.

Okay, the current most important issue has been resolved, at least one of the huge stones weighing in my heart can be put down now. Much more relieved now. *Phew*. Now left with other problems to tackle but the biggest one is still my eldest's issues.

Hmm...headache...headache...Ah Mi Tuo Fo...
