Report Book

My princess had gotten her report book and book list today.

Although I have already mentally prepared myself that her results will not be as good as last year because she has slacken a lot, but when I opened up the report book, I can't help but still feel some slight disappointment in my heart (hope it's not too obvious to my princess).

I do not wish to add any stress on her, thus I just calmly commented that although her results are not as good as last year's but at least she has improved compared to SA1, which is good. Just almost immediately after I've commented that, she brought out a trophy which she had won during a competition. I gave her a hug and smiled. I believe she's feeling very happy too as this is her first time getting a trophy. The other time she only won first or second prize (cannot recall that now, only remember that it's a voucher from NTUC) for her Art competition within the our zone.

Hope my princess will buck up and be hardworking a bit because next year's gonna be a very tough year for her as she'll need to wake up very early in the morning (she's an 'owl'), there'll be one more additional subject added - Science and compulsory CCAs.

Hope she's able to adapt to all these 'stress'. Yes, I know for sure that she'll definitely feel stressed out given her character. Just wish that she'll be able overcome all these and work hard for next year.
