Haizz...

Today my eldest gal need to go to the Police Station to report. She kept giving excuses for not going for the past few days. But she cannot afford not to go. It is a must. So this morning my hubby reminded her about it and even fetched her there, so there's no way she can 'escape' (if she really did not go, she'll be worse).

Upon reaching there, were told that her files were already with the CMB and that they will write a letter to the school again but this time is to ask them to write in to MOE to get a counselor for my gal (not those normal counselors) and the officer even warned my gal that she cannot give excuse for not going for the counseling or she will have to face the consequences. He warned her that this is the 2nd, only and last chance that they are going to give her or she will need to be like other drug offenders - go back to the police quarter every week for urine tests, NO excuses (even working or what, she will need to arrange her time) or she could be sent to jail.

But on the way back, both my hubby and myself know that she's not repentant at all and wasn't afraid! Not even in the least bit! What makes us boil is that she can still tell her friends that she's so tired of always having to go to the police quarter to report and not NPP (neighbourhood police post). Her tone sounded so 'proud' and 'yaya papaya' because she's the only one among her friends who is always reporting at the police quarter whereas some of her friends had only been to the NPPs...oh my! She's really a great disappointment. I'm really upset and hurt.

Initially had thought that she may feel threatened and be afraid (yes, this is what we hope so that she may try to change) but alas, instead of changing for the better, this seems to add on to her...what do you call that...something like her 'power', especially since she's also a member from the so-call old term "secret society/underworld"...haizz...really do not understand what are the current younsters thoughts. Is this something really so 'wonderful' and something to be 'proud' of? To us it is definitely a disgrace to the family but we have no choice if we really wanted to save her. Oh my oh my, wonder when she will really grow up and become sensible.
