Gifted?

As my princess was down with fever, flu and cough the other day, she had 2 days MC and the 3rd day was a Deepavali, she was bored to death.

She told me that she was very bored and wanted to draw but didn't know what to draw anymore (because she's been drawing a lot whenever she's bored, haha). I suddenly remembered I ever bought her books on Art, so I asked her to refer to those to get some ideas or even learn from it. She took out one and I saw the cartoons drawn on the book were sort of cute and funny, thus I asked her why not try drawing those instead since she had never tried her hands on cartoons before (oh, she can draw Winx Club's Bloom very very well, really alike! *proud mummy* :D ).

She immediately took out her sketch book (I bought her many as she is always drawing - ever tried A4 size papers but most of the time the papers were strewn all over the place..haizz) and a marker preparing to draw. I stopped her asking her to use pencil in case she is not satisfied and needs to erase. She simply answered me :"No need Mum. I'm very professional one, you know?" Oh my, so proud! I rolled my eyes and pretended to throw out...haha. She just smiled and started drawing and to my surprise, she did it so well even at her very first attempt! She's really gifted, I think.

Too bad I can not upload the pics here as not sure if it's my hp problem or my pc *frustrated*.

Hope I will have the chance to post the pics of the cartoons that she has drawn over here and oh yes, a sure must to look at my gal's hands on that leader, Bloom from Winx Club. We are really proud of her talent in drawing :)

P.S. : Pls do not shoot me, afterall, I am a mother and whose not proud of their children if there's a 'chance' to? Haha. Some may say "Cheh, not terrific exams result what, what's there to be proud of?" I do not agree. Why do we have to focus on academics only? I feel that there are so many other areas that are worth our attention too, especially when you see the smiles on your children, when you see them indulging in happiness...don't you feel for them too? :)
