Ok, for those who knows me long enough knows that I have a darling who is crazing about drawing since toddler time. Yes, whenever she's free or bored, besides reading, all she will do is draw draw draw and draw...wherever she is.
So here I have picked somemore of my favourites drawn by her last year (2007) - when she was 8 years old.
These pix were taken end of 2007 but was drawn in somewhere early 2007 or end of 2006
when she was btw 7-8 years old

How could she possibly leave out her
favourite character Bloom from Winx Club
when it comes to drawing!

when it comes to drawing!
Another character from Winx Club
When she first laid her hands on her favourite Winx Club characters, she was very depressed and mad and was always tearing away the drawings angrily because she did not find them nice and alike! So I tried to talk to her telling her that in throwing her tantrums like that will not help her draw better and the more she's angry and agitated, the worse the result! She was still very angry and kept scolding herself that she was stupid and she cannot draw well....
Haizz. I just leave her alone and try not to agitate her too much for the next few days. She even stopped drawing for a few days (that's quite tough on her actually lol) but after that, I think she had either cooled down or straightened out her thoughts so she tried to draw them again and to my surprise, once she started drawing, the character was so much alike! What do you think? (ok, I admit...I AM Proud...of her, why not?) :D
And, seriously speaking. There's one thing which I really admired her on her drawings is that she can draw any picture with just one stroke, either pen, pencil, coloured pens or any materials WITHOUT erasing all these!!! Wow! I can never do that in my life although I used to be an Art student too *cheeks blushing* I really wish I can be like her too, so confident in drawing (you should see her expressions when drawing - so focused and confident). But one thing we are not alike when it comes to drawing is that she likes drawing ppl a lot when I hate it and cannot do it at all. I still prefer nature and still life all these. Also, she's very fast in drawing while I always take ages to complete it. Keke.
Ok, the followings are also her first hand on cartoon drawings...and I am still proud because they really looked like as if they were traced! I felt guilty when I suspected that inside my heart, and I even tried to put it over the book (where she learn from) to see if she had traced them but she did not!! *guilty mode on* *embarrassed* . For those who has the book, you can see for yourself how much the 'resemblence' is...so can't really blame me ya. *grin*
Haha, bet you have all seen the 'price' my darling wrote over there. She did that because both my hubby and myself were teasing her something about selling her drawings to help the poor and to gain some experience as well...lol.

Well, may be she's my darling that's why I think her drawings are fantastic, not sure what's the viewers' expectation like. But I hope you guys like her drawings too ;)
